Add & Subtract to 20: Student Workbook (Grades 1–2)
Add & Subtract to 20: Student Workbook (Grades 1–2) is a research-based workbook that helps children master addition and subtraction within 20 without tears or rote memorization. Through short story-based lessons and hands-on activities with cubes, diagrams, and visual models, children discover their own strategies for solving “crossing ten” problems like 8 + 7 or 12 − 5. The 8 carefully structured lessons follow P. Ya. Galperin’s step-by-step method, so students move from concrete actions to confident mental calculation. The book is available in English in both print and digital formats, and a Ukrainian-language PDF edition will be available starting in March 2026.
